The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann claimed Hulu executives and Lisa Vanderpump lied to cover that Marciano Brunette sexually assaulted her at Vanderpump Villa.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Demi maintained that Marciano violated her.
Demi said what she said:
“Unequivocally, what I’ve said happened. I was sexually assaulted and inappropriately touched without my consent.”
“My husband and I were talking about this earlier. I just said, ‘How sad.’ We’ve come so far. We’ve progressed so much as a society and this has been an issue for years and years. Women do not feeling believed when they say something happened that they feel uncomfortable with.”
“There is footage in the hallway of when this happened.”
The interviewer brought up that “Lisa and the network executives have said they’ve reviewed the footage and nothing happened.”
“That’s not true. I sent a demand letter for the footage to prove my innocence. I got a response saying they did not have access to the footage. They could not share it with me.”
Lisa’s side of the story:
The restaurateur told Access Hollywood, “I categorically know what happened because we have cameras everywhere and I have seen every ounce of the footage.”
Lisa understood why Demi’s costars had their doubts about the allegations. “When the women are doubting her, they have got a very good reason,” Lisa continued. “Any allegations against Marciano, I have the luxury of having all the footage.”
