Nic Vansteenberghe from season 7 of Love Island USA is putting on his dancing shoes in hopes of being cast on Dancing With the Stars.
From Fiji to the Ballroom?
The Islander, who was the runner-up alongside Olandria Carthen, told Glamour that he’s hoping to compete on DWTS next season.
Nic is “manifesting” a spot on the ballroom competition series. “I’m going to start training soon.”
“I just want to dance,” Nic said. He also promised that he would stand out amongst the competition. “The progression would be insane. I would win most improved.”
Aside from Dancing with the Stars, Nic said he’s open to starring on other reality shows, with one exception … “I’m down for anything but a dating show,” quipped Nic.
Never forget:
If Nic were to join season 35 of DWTS, he would be the first Love Island contestant to compete. However, Love Island USA host Ariana Madix competed on season 32 of DWTS, which was before she started hosting Peacock’s popular dating show.
Ariana finished in third place with her partner Pasha Pashkov. The Vanderpump Rules alum earned high scores, including two perfect 30s for her Foxtrot and Freestyle.
