The trailer for TLC/HBO Max‘s latest unscripted show, Little Singles, teases a friend group who is about to have the “best vacation ever.”
PEOPLE highlighted the new reality series, which follows a group of friends exploring community and chasing sparks in Palm Springs.
Alon Orstein, the head of content at TLC, promised the new series will connect with the audience. “We’re always looking for real stories with real heart, and this circle of friends delivers. Little Singles follows a group with history and incredible chemistry, and the result is a series that feels fresh, fun, and deeply relatable.”
What we know so far:
Having previously met at a little people convention, the gang reunites for a sunny California getaway to party and grow their connections.
“Living in an average-sized world comes with daily challenges, from accessibility and social stigma to dating and self-confidence. In this house, everyone is on equal footing, creating a space where they can fully be themselves.”
“What begins as a carefree getaway among friends quickly evolves into a chosen‑family experience. With a mix of personalities, relationship histories and different forms of dwarfism, the group explores what love, honesty and truly belonging really mean.”
The who’s who:
The trailer features a first look at its stars.
John, 28, is described as “the heart and glue of the house.” He considers himself one of the “three amigos” with pals Stephanie and Sammy.
Stephanie is “known for her big personality and even bigger heart.” Sammy is “a loud and magnetic presence who thrives as the life of the party.” TLC teased they are “secretly involved.”
Things become complicated when sparks also fly between Sammy and Krista, who is described as “the charismatic princess of the group.” From there, a “love triangle emerges.”
JJ is the “bold and fearless lifelong performer” who is “ready to open herself up to love again.”
In the preview, John explained that he’s “bringing all my single friends to Palm Springs.” The trailer also explores the romance brewing during the Palm Springs vacation, with Steph revealing that she and Sammy are keeping “a little bit of a secret from John.”
Little Singles arrives on TLC June 15 and is available to stream on HBO Max the following day.
