Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is celebrating Ariana Madix’s career milestones following her time on Vanderpump Rules, even if she isn’t tuning in to Love Island USA!
During an interview with Hollywood Reel Time, Lisa reflected on Ariana’s post-VPR career and praised the way the former reality star handled life after her highly publicized split from Tom Sandoval. “I’ve watched things that she’s done. I’m really proud of her,” Lisa shared.
The restauranteur noted that Ariana had two choices when she found herself in the spotlight: retreat from the public eye or use the attention to her advantage. “When she was in that position, there were two ways she could go. She could have just retreated and never heard from her again,” Lisa explained.
Instead, Ariana took control of her future. “I like the way she took the bull by the horns. That’s really important,” Lisa continued. “It’s not how many times you’ve been knocked down — it’s how many times you get up. I think she showed them, and then some … which I love.”
Since leaving her Vanderpump Rules drama behind, Ariana has built an impressive career across television and theater. She made it to the finale of Dancing With the Stars, was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Host, and is starring in her second Broadway show, Just In Time.
