Lisa Barlow wants everyone to know she’s always been “baby gorgeous.”
The Salt Lake City Housewife shared a Vulture article with her X followers, which triggered a series of tweets.
The article is titled “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Are Totally Unrecognizable in Season 5 Trailer.” In it, the publication not only mentions the physical changes of the group, but also their respective personalities.
“It’s not just the change in appearances that are girl, so confusing, but it’s also how they are acting. It looks like the big feuds of the season will be between Mary Cosby and Meredith Marks, the only woman courageous enough to be Mary’s ally since the show started,” the website writes.
After sharing the article, Lisa tweeted:
“I just want to remind you all that S1 we were robbed of our faces No glow up necessary I came in donned and I will leave that way And I’ve been glamming since 2006.”
Like X user, bravoandyalt, I also didn’t understand what the Vida Tequila owner meant by “robbed of our faces.”
Lisa clarifies that production for season 1 placed the same edit on all the ladies. Either “Mickey Mouse Playhouse” or “Mount Rushmore” she teases.
Not going to lie, for the majority of season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, I could not differentiate between Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks. So I can totally see where she’s coming from.
However, I’m not sure calling out editing will win any points with the network.
The mother of 2 also responded to a tweet shading the season 5 cast photo.
Bonus content: This tweet has absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter. I also think Heather Gay is beautiful and does not resemble Shrek’s wife but this made me wheeze.
