Lindsay Hubbard knows exactly where she was when news broke of West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s situationship.
The Summer House star revealed to Decider that when West and Amanda dropped their joint statement, she was in the middle of filming confessionals for the upcoming spinoff, In The City.
“I was doing confessionals, right when the announcement was posted,” Lindsay shared.
“Lucky timing for us, I guess.”
On March 31, the duo confirmed online chatter that they were romantically involved.
They posted the same statement to Instagram clarifying, “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”
Still, the thought of Lindsay getting handed her phone to read that statement on camera sends chills up my spine in the best way,
So does knowing cameras actually picked back up to cover the aftermath of West and Amanda’s bombshell.
ICYMI: Last month, The Ankler confirmed an additional scene was added to the series premiere, which airs May 19 following the Summer House season finale.
The chairman of Bravo and Peacock’s unscripted division confirmed that a couple cast members filmed pickup scenes, though she didn’t specify who.
However, in the same interview with Decider, Lindsay revealed she wasn’t part of those added scenes.
Luckily for us, Hubbs will still be in a confessional chair — and for that, I’m thankful.
