Lindsay Hubbard found herself proud of her former fiancé, Carl Radke for opening his non-alcoholic establishment, Soft Bar.
On the After Show, the ‘activated’ Summer House star said she would visit Carl’s bar simply to congratulate him on finishing something he started.
Carl got a gold star from the new mom:
Snarkily, Lindsay began, “Yes” I’d go to Soft Bar. “Just to be like, ‘Finally. You actually did something you said you would do.'”
“I’ll be there with a sign that says, ‘CONGRATULATIONS, CARLITO,” joked Lindsay. “You did it … the one thing that you talked about doing.'”
Meanwhile ….
Carl and Kyle Cooke went back and forth about what a positive direction Carl and Lindsay’s relationship was in … after he ended their engagement and she had another man’s baby in the last year and a half.
Since Lindsay has Carl blocked on Instagram, Lindsay posted a birthday wish to her ex via Kyle’s Happy 40th post to Carl. Unfortunately, Carl “didn’t see” the post, but was all smiles by Lindsay’s gesture.
Kyle thinks the exes are one step closer to “somehow rekindling” a friendship. “I wouldn’t put anything past these two.” The Loverboy owner has “high hopes they continue to make amends.”
Also, Kyle hopes Lindsay and Carl can acknowledge and appreciate that “things happen for a reason and it wasn’t meant to be.”
While Carl doesn’t see Lindsay “investing in Soft Bar,” he would “love” if she would check out his non-alcoholic bar. With a blindingly white, toothy grin, Carl concluded, “It is what it is.”
We need Andy and a camera when Lindsay (and her ‘Congratulations, Carlito’ banner) make it into Soft Bar.
