Lexi Wood is honoring her late friend, Presley Gerber.
The Summer House alum shared a heartfelt tribute in remembrance of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s 27-year-old son.
“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” Lexi wrote on Sept. 22.
“Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it.”
Lexi and Presley knew each other as friends for about seven years before briefly dating in 2022.
“I feel so lucky to have shared so many years of friendship, so many memories and so much love with him,” she continued.
On Sunday, Sept. 20, Presley tragically died at a rehab facility in Santa Monica, California.
According to a 911 dispatch call, paramedics responded to a report of “cardiac arrest” and “overdose.” An official cause of death has not yet been determined.
Lexi also acknowledged Presley’s mental health struggles and how he “fought so hard for his life.”
“He was brave enough to be open about that fight. More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did,” Lexi shared.
