Former Southern Charm star Leva Bonaparte is noticeably absent from the Bravo Fan Fest lineup in Charleston, South Carolina … but according to the restaurateur, her absence was by design!
A Threads user asked Leva if she would be attending Bravo Fan Fest this weekend. The Charleston local confirmed she would be in town before revealing that she had asked Bravo to leave her off the roster.
“I live here, yes. No I asked Bravo to kindly release [me] of their roster!” she responded.
Leva went on to explain that she’s ready to move on to something new.
“I’m moving on to a new chapter of my life! Appreciated my time there but it’s no longer serving me 🫶🏽 New projects on the horizon!”
Leva’s claim that she voluntarily stepped away from the Bravo Fan Fest lineup didn’t convince everyone in the comments.
“I’ll never believe this was her decision,” one social media user wrote.
“Not serving her hahahahaha, dead,” another commenter quipped.
A third person questioned why Leva would willingly distance herself from the network, considering her connection to Charleston’s hospitality scene.
“She asked Bravo not to be the Charleston LVP on the Charleston VPR that’s set at her business and was a tool to promote her hospitality ‘empire’? Ok… 🤔” they wrote.
Leva later shared a cryptic message that appeared to hint at her feelings about returning to reality television. “As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly. (Proverbs 26:11),” she posted.
