Lauren Manzo, daughter of former Real Housewife of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo, has finalized her divorce with Vito Scalia.
In Case You Missed It:
Bravo fans began to speculate that Vito and Lauren split when they noticed Vito’s absence from Lauren’s social media. This prompted the former RHONJ star to announce that she and her husband had separated.
Lauren shared a video with her Instagram following on October 24, 2023 confirming the news. She simply captioned the video with a red heart and turned off comments.
The couple married in July of 2015 and have one daughter together, Marchesa ‘Markie’ Scalia, who turns eight this year.
In September of 2023, Vito filed for divorce — citing irreconcilable differences. A judge officially signed off on the ruling back in November of 2024.
Daily Mail exclusively obtained court documents which speaks to their divorce settlement.
Vito and Lauren’s Divorce
Per the settlement, the couple will share joint legal custody of Markie, though her primary residence will be with Lauren in their marital home.
When the coparents switch off, the meeting point will be at Caroline and Albert Manzo’s Franklin Lakes home.
Vito is ordered to pay $1,000 a month in child support and a “limited duration alimony” of $4,000 for a period of 27 months.
Other rulings:
- Markie can not appear on TV unless written consent from either parent is obtained
- Alimony is non-modifiable and will stop if Lauren cohabitates or remarries
- Lauren can not move more than 30 miles away from Vito’s residence unless it is to be closer to his home
- They both agreed to “behave discreetly with other people in the child’s presence”
It seems like Lauren and Vito are doing everything they can to ensure a smooth transition for Markie.
The Manzos are all about family family family, so I can bet Caroline and Albert take great pride in helping facilitate!
