Lala Kent has no problem photoshopping “her pod” and she’s letting everyone know it.
The new mom of two took to her podcast, Give Them Lala, to explain her reasoning for photoshopping her daughter Ocean’s teeth, and details Ocean’s recent tumble.

“I post this carousel of photos, and I’m so proud of it,” Lala begins on the December 11th episode.

“I go in to retouch Ocean’s teeth of her holding Sosa in her turkey outfit. And I just couldn’t make it look like it wasn’t super edited.”
ICYMI: While with Randall Emmett, Ocean’s dad, Ocean suffered an accident while riding her bike. The 3 year old fell face first, causing damage to her two front teeth.
“When I pick her up, her lip is very busted. But then I look at her two front teeth and I notice that the gums are bloody,” Lala recounted.
The pediatric dentist said that Ocean’s teeth did suffer nerve damage, but they aren’t dead — resulting in the gray color Lala attempted to photoshop.
“I’m like, I’m editing these teeth. Number one, I’m vain.”
“I am a teeth person. I wanted just to have cute little white teeth.”
Lala confessed that she does, in fact, “live in the comment section” and is mindful about what people say about her children, and her parenting.
Commenters were quick to call out “bottle rot” or alluding to too much sugar in Ocean’s diet. All of which Lala has debunked.
“She has a fantastic diet and we brush thoroughly.”
To Lala’s defense, I get the “damned if you do; damned if you don’t” POV.
By her not editing out the gray, commenters pointed out possible neglect. However, if she does edit them, they say she’s sending a poor body image mentality to her daughter.
