2020 can go shave its back now. WE (yes, I’m speaking for all of us) CAN’T HANDLE ANY MORE BAD NEWS. Sorry to yell, but I’m at my breaking point.
It is with great sadness that I report that Queen Kristin Cavallari and her husband, former football player Jay Cutler, will divorce after a decade together. The couple share three children, Camden Jack, Saylor James, and Jaxon Wyatt.
The stars of E!‘s Very Cavallari made it Instagram official by sharing the same caption with their followers. “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
Kristin and Jay met during a Chicago Bears preseason game back in 2010. This isn’t the first split for the couple, as Jay called off his engagement to the former star of MTV‘s The Hills and Laguna Beach. However, they reconciled and got married in June 2013.
The Cavallari/Cutler crew live in Nashville, but they spent a big chunk of time self-isolating in the Bahamas with their Very Cavallari co-stars and their three kids. Though they couldn’t get a flight off the island for weeks, they finally went home last Monday. This takes the term ‘trouble in paradise’ to a new level.
In case you missed it, there were rumors of Kristin’s former BFF, Kelly Henderson (and Very Cavallari co-star), having an affair with Jay. “When season two was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair,” Kristin told People at the show’s premiere. “Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true. It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it.”
