During the Honestly Cavallari podcast tour, Kristin Cavallari got Craig Conover to admit that there was an “overlap” in his relationship with KCav and Paige DeSorbo.
Craig was joined by Southern Charm‘s Austen Kroll on Kristin’s tour.
A lawyer and a storyteller:
Kristin put Craig on the spot in front of a live audience. “Did you lie to me about Paige? I definitely think there was a little overlap.”
Craig, who “never lied” to Kristin, was caught in a lie. Kristin persisted, “I remember asking you and you were like, ‘No, nothing’s going on.’”
The Sewing Down South owner defended himself. “No, I don’t think there’s as much overlap as everyone thinks. I honestly believe we were such good friends.”
“I actually am an honest person,” declared Craig. “Like, I never lied to you about anything.” Craig and Kristin confirmed they “weren’t dating,” but Kristin made it clear they were intimate.
Kristin ended it with Craig:
The Southern Charm star claimed, “It just got to the point [where] Paige and I decided to date and we stopped talking.”
Kristin confirmed she was the one who ended it, not Craig. “Once I kind of caught wind of Paige, I was like, ‘I’m gonna remove myself from this situation.’”
The Hills alum later added in a confessional that she and Craig hooked up “like once or twice. It wasn’t that much.”
Kristin confessed the drama with Craig was a “wake-up call” as it was her first public scandal since her divorce. “It definitely made me kind of take a step back and realize that I kind of needed to reel things in a little bit.”
