Kristen Doute is living in her engagement love bubble, and it’s not to be popped..even if her former bestie, Stassi Schroeder, has yet to congratulate her.
The Valley star revealed on her podcast, Balancing Act, she hasn’t heard from Stassi after news broke of her engagement.
“I think the last time I heard from Stassi would have been on her anniversary when I wished her a happy anniversary and we exchanged some kind words,” the bride to be cavalierly mentioned on the October 4th episode.

In case you missed it: during The Valley’s cast trip to Hawaii earlier this summer, Luke Broderick proposed to Kristen while on a boat.

Cameras were up, so we will be sure to see the prepping and the popping of the question play out during season 2.
Kristen and Luke met in 2022 when they both attended a mutual friend’s wedding. With Kristen living in California, and Luke happily residing on a farm in Colorado, fans are puzzled as to how they plan to make this long-distance relationship/soon-to-be marriage, work. Especially, since Kristen has publicly begun fertility treatments.
Pour One Out for the Witches of WeHo
All good things must come to an end, even the “Witches of WeHo.”
Katie Maloney and Stassi’s relationship has even changed, and she’s Hartford’s godmother. With Stassi being married, and a new mother of 2, its understandable that friendship dynamics ebb and flow.
Kristen understands that too. She continues her revelation saying:
“She used to be like a sister to me, so I just wish her the best.”
“Sometimes friendships don’t last. That’s it, people just grow apart.”
I was shocked to learn that Luke has never met Stassi. However, he “has met Beau Clark a few times.”
For the record, I have met Stassi twice and I am not in their orbit. It’s interesting that Luke and Stassi’s paths haven’t intersected considering all the friend overlap and them living in the same city. But, I digress.
