Kristen Doute is a mom—and she’s not entertaining any chaos when it comes to her daughter, Kaia Lily Broderick.
The Valley star took to Threads to share a firm set of rules for anyone planning to be around her newborn. And in true Kristen fashion, she didn’t mince words.
“My baby is under a month old & this goes for family & friends,” she wrote, before listing off a few hard boundaries.
Kristen’s “no-no” list:
- Don’t kiss the baby
- Don’t touch her face
- If you’ve traveled, been at a party, or even have a tickle in your throat—don’t come over
- Get your TDAP shot
- Don’t ask to hold the baby—if she’s cool with it, she’ll let you know
Kristen ended her post with a reminder to fellow moms that boundaries around newborns aren’t up for debate:
“Moms, you’re not crazy. Babies are small & germs are big.”
It’s worth noting that Kristen’s road to motherhood wasn’t an easy one. After struggling with fertility and experiencing a pregnancy loss, she and partner Luke Broderick welcomed their rainbow baby in June.
So yeah, the protectiveness makes sense.
