The Valley star Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are going strong, despite the audience’s perception after the season 3 premiere episode dropped.
In an interview with ET, Kristen told Brice Sander that she and Luke are great, just adjusting to life with a child.
Rookie year:
“We are raising a baby for the first time by ourselves,” explained Kristen, “really trying to figure it out. We’re traveling soon to go see family. We haven’t traveled much and spent time with family yet. It’s really important to both of us.’
Kristen and Luke are “Figuring it all out. Whenever we can go for baby number two, I feel like I’m going to have it on lockdown. Then you can ask me again.”
Luke and Kristen are “Absolutely” still going strong. “Very much so, yes.”
Regarding the fan speculation as to why Kristen doesn’t post pics with Luke, “I don’t post anything ever,” explained the former SURver. “We’re great. Just getting through the first year.”
Welcome to The Valley, Kaia Lily!
Kristen’s firstborn came on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. “She’s here, and we still can’t believe it.”
“Luke is even hotter as a dad, and I just feel so lucky,” Kristen gushed to US Weekly. “And even though I haven’t slept or showered in two days, seeing our daughter and finally being able to hold her makes it all worth it. We’re completely overwhelmed with love and so grateful for her. Our lives are already changed completely.”
Fans saw Kristen and Luke’s engagement on The Valley:
While on a cast trip to Maui, The Valley stars decided to take the next step in their relationship.
After two years of courtship, Luke popped the question to Kristen on a boat at sunset. He told the former Vanderpump Rules personality to “keep an eye out for dolphins while he got down on one knee.” Kristen told US Weekly, the engagement “was a total surprise.”
“I knew from the moment we met that Luke was my person. I am so excited to continue this journey together, now as fiancés.”
