The matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner family has passed away.
On July 16, Kris Jenner revealed that her family has “said goodbye” to her beloved mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell.
“There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye,” Kris began in her emotional tribute.
“My mom was the heart of our family.”
MJ, of course, was the grandmother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
She also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren.
“Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us,” Kris continued.
“Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.”
The mother of six concluded her tribute by thanking MJ for giving her “the greatest childhood” and “a beautiful, blessed life.”
ICYMI: MJ welcomed Kris in 1955 before divorcing her father, Robert “Bob” Houghton, several years later.
She later married businessman Harry Shannon, who became a father figure to Kris and her younger sister, Karen Houghton, until his death in 2003.
Kris’ sister, Karen, also passed away in 2024, a loss that viewers saw deeply affect MJ on The Kardashians.
MJ was 91 years old.
We’re sending all our love to Kris and the entire Kardashian-Jenner family during this heartbreaking time.
