Love Island USA besties Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker celebrated “girls girl” Ariana Madix who ‘mothered’ them during their time filming in Fiji. This comes on the heels of Casa Amor girl, Daia McGhee claiming, “The host gave mean girl energy.”
Girls Girl or Mean Girl?
Liv admitted to Us Weekly, “I haven’t seen a lot of past Love Islands, but Ariana was a mother to us. She had our back, she was a shoulder to cry on, she was there for the girls.” Kaylor added, “She’s a girl’s girl all the way.”
“I feel like everyone has their own experiences. Everyone deals with different people differently. But Ariana, I cannot quote her higher. She’s the most amazing, supportive lady ever and I will back her. If anyone says that she’s not like that, then you weren’t there long enough to know what she’s like. I’ll say that.”
Kaylor said VPR’s breakout star was “there for us 110 percent.” Liv added, “Jealousy is a curse.”

In case you missed what Kaylor and Liv responded to:
“The host gave mean girl energy,” began Daia. “Ariana did make a comment that rubbed me the wrong way at the reunion. They – obviously – didn’t put it in. But, it was after they did the whole Leah/Andrea fire pit scene.”
“Ariana asked, ‘Can everyone raise your hand if you think Leah took a backseat.’ I was like, ‘I’m not raising my fucking hand for anything. I wasn’t even there; I don’t give a fuck. No one else wanted to raise their hand either.”
“So, she was like, ‘I’m going to ask you guys again.’ She asked again. ‘Everyone. Raise your had if you think Leah took a backseat.’ Again, not raising my hand. She was like, ‘Come on guys. I’ve been on a reality show and I got treated way worse than you guys. You guys need to pretty much get over it.’”
Daia concluded, “Girl. This is not about you. This is Love Island, not Vanderpump Rules or whatever show you were on.”
