While appearing on Watch What Happens Live following the much anticipated premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Kate Upton was quick to defend Shannon Beador against Alexis Bellino!
“Alexis is thirstier than a newborn sucking on her Jesus Jugs,” the Sports Illustrated model began.
The season 18 premiere featured the return of Alexis Bellino. What makes her integration into the group so messy is that she is now dating Shannon’s ex, John Janssen.
Some Bravo fans and OC housewives (Tamra Judge) don’t find Alexis and John’s relationship to be in opposition of ‘girl code.’
However, some are more aligned with Kate Upton’s POV.
“What do you make of John Janssen jumping into a relationship with a Real Housewife after Shannon’s fame seemed to be an issue in their relationship,” Bravo daddy asked.
“Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how anyone would date someone so mediocre. What is this guy? Like a New York 2?”
“He was lucky to have you!” Kate reassured Shannon during their episode.
In case you missed it: Shannon Beador and John Janssen split in November of 2022 following season 17. The duo remained friendly throughout the years, but officially stopped talking following Shannon’s DUI arrest in September of 2023.
John and Alexis Bellino allegedly began dating just 6 weeks after Shannon and John cut ties.
“It’s called getting over your skeeze,” Kate joked.
