Now that The Real Housewives of New York has officially been placed on pause, Julia Fox is sharing some tea!
In a recent TikTok Live, the actress and fashion provocateur revealed she was once in talks to join the iconic Bravo franchise.
“I feel like I can talk about it now,” Julia shared candidly. “They fully wanted me to be on RHONY. I did an interview for it.”
While the opportunity may have been tempting, Julia ultimately turned it down.
“Honestly, I don’t even think that I can save that franchise,” she admitted.
The newest Lemme spokesperson said she has nothing but love for the current cast. However, she believes the chemistry just isn’t there.
Still, she hasn’t lost hope in the future of the franchise — especially when it comes to OG royalty.
Julia recently ran into Sonja Morgan in Mexico and urged her to return to the series. Sonja said she’d be open to it!
“I want to see out-of-touch women say crazy, out-of-touch stuff,” Julia joked, calling out what many longtime fans have been missing: messy, unfiltered moments from women who aren’t afraid to be wildly themselves.
She also echoed a common critique of today’s reality stars that they’re too media-savvy to be truly raw on camera.
“My generation is too social media trained,” Julia noted.
