Josh Hall hit the wrong note when bringing a Mariah Carey song into the feud he’s found himself in with Christina Haack.
Why You So Obsessed With Me?
Josh’s spokesperson told Life & Style, “It’s sad Christina must resort to low blows about her ex Josh to promote her new show.”
Christina “should focus on her new boyfriend and stop talking about Josh. As the great Mariah Carey once sang, ‘Why you so obsessed with me?’ We wish Christina the best.”
Josh’s rep concluded, “Christina knows nothing about Josh’s life. It’s sad she keeps speculating. Her accusations are baseless.”
Christina clapped back after Josh used a Mariah song against her:
The HGTV star shared the clip from the tabloid to her Instagram story with her commentary. “I just threw up in my mouth. Quoting a Mariah Carey song is a new low … even for you.”
Christina On the Coast‘s star continued, “Trust me. IDGAF about Josh’s life. I do however care about his behind-the-scenes tactics. Narcissism at its finest.”
The divorce:
During an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, Christina revealed that her impending divorce from Josh is moving slower than she’d like. It appears Christina and Josh are going to trial because Josh “doesn’t want to do mediation.”
“According to the paperwork, Josh filed for a dissolution of marriage in Orange County, CA citing irreconcilable differences. He lists the date of separation as July 8.” While Josh’s filing is the one that’s in the system as of now, sources told the tabloid Christina filed for divorce Monday, and “it just hasn’t processed yet.”
Moving on:
The star of the upcoming show, The Flip Off, has a new beau. Christina has been dating a CEO named Chris Larocca for “months.”
Josh, who requested spousal support from Christina, “met someone wonderful in Nashville, and they have been happily dating for some time.” He noted he “wasn’t trying to date, but he met someone. It was a perfect match.”
The Flip Off premiers on Wednesday, January 29 at 8 pm.
