Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga are optimistic about reuniting with Teresa Giudice.
The Gorgas appeared on The Tamron Hall Show with Melissa and Joe’s Wife Swap couple and shared the family update.
Current status:
Melissa gleamed, “Things are good now. Things are amazing.”
Joe shared his POV. “Everybody says you need to take baby steps. We’re not taking baby steps.”
“It just went right back to normal. We all missed each other.”
“They came to my comedy show. It was sweet. It was nice. The kids are great. [Teresa and Melissa] are back to normal. They’re great. They’re texting each other.”
A weight was lifted:
“Thank God. To see the relief in his eyes,” continued Melissa, “That’s everything to me. Family’s everything. You have one sibling. I can’t even believe it went this long. It was too long. Life is too short.”
The Gorga/Giudice reunion motivated other families to extend olive branches. “You know what’s amazing,” asked Joe. “Everywhere I go now, people are like, “Listen. I called and reached out to my brother; I reached out to my father.”
“I reached out because of you.”
Melissa reminded Tamron’s audience of the act of forgiveness. “If I can do it, anyone can.”
