What would Jesse Solomon do? Not ignore one of his newest housemates!
The Summer House season 9 premiere introduces two newbies — Lexi Wood and Bailee Henderson.
At first I had to wipe my eyes to ensure that I wasn’t looking at Tom Sandoval’s former assistance entering the house alongside Lexi.
Bailee is introduced as one of Lexi’s besties “who lives down the street.” We also find out they both have a mutual friend in Amanda Batula.
In episode two, Bailee finally gets a confessional scene.
However, why isn’t production focusing on Bailee as much her Canadian counterpart?
Well, word on the street was Bailee allegedly stopped showing up for filming midway through the season.
A source revealed to DECIDER that Bailee “misrepresented some things in her life and it was a mutual decision to part ways.”
It’s also alleged that Bailee talked negatively about the cast when she wasn’t filming.
With all of this in mind, Jesse Solomon added his two cents when the question came up on a recent Amazon Live.
What Would Jesse Solomon Do?
“I don’t think we ignored Bailee,” Jesse begins. “Maybe that’s how it appeared. There’s only 42 minutes.”
Jesse encouraged everyone to think of the “hours and hours and hours” of footage collected from the various cameras in the house. We see a super consolidated version of that.
Perhaps I’m projecting, but in the below clip, it seems like Jesse is a bit annoyed with the question and is rather flippant when answering it. Perhaps there is truth to the claim she was smack talking the cast while in the city.
