Jess Walter is “giving them” the tea, kind of, on her abrupt exit from the Give Them Lala podcast.
Vanderpump Rules‘ Lala Kent closed out the November 6 episode of Give Them Lala by giving her “ache and relief” of the week.
“My ache is that my ride or die, Jessica, is no longer going to be working for me, and she is no longer going to be on the podcast.”
“My relief is that she’s going to spread her wings.”
“I love her more than anything, and I’m so excited to see what she’s going to do in her future.”
Reading Between the Lines
Jess posted a photo on Instagram seemingly addressing the exit. She captioned the photo “One foot in front of the other, y’all ♥️”

However, last night, Jess finally addressed the public and somewhat confirmed suspicions.
The former cohost posted a couple IG stories expressing her gratitude for the listeners who have sent their well-wishes and love following the news.
“Of course I would have said goodbye to you guys if I were given the opportunity,” she begins.
“Right now, on behalf of my position on the Give Them Lala podcast, goodbye.”
“That is all I will say for now.”
Ray Charles can see this is not a clean break and Jess likely signed an NDA limiting what she can legally share.
But it’s very clear in the video that Jess is struggling and emotional about the decision. (valid she was literally in the hospital room when Lala had Sosa.)

Fans theorized that Jess was fired. For what reason? We don’t know.
A couple theories circulating:
- Lala can no longer afford to pay Jess with VPR on the backburner.
- Jess was babysitting Ocean (Lala’s eldest daughter) when Ocean cut her own hair with nail scissors.
- Her brother Easton and her Mom stepped up to do more.
What we do know with 100% confidence is that this will not be the last we hear of this story or from Jess Walter.
