Jay Cutler is clapping back at ex-wife Kristin Cavallari’s claims that she walked away from their divorce empty-handed.
Earlier this summer, Kristin told listeners of her Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour podcast that she didn’t get “a penny” from the former NFL quarterback after their split. But Jay is calling her story “reckless” and “completely false.”
On the Take It Outside podcast, the ex-Chicago Bears star mocked her comments, saying she actually got “a lot, a lot, a lot of [dollar] bills.”
Cutler doubled down, explaining:
“In the state of Tennessee, if we would have went to the judge and been like, ‘Hey, he’s going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years and you’re going to get nothing.’ There’s not a judge in the state of Tennessee that would have signed that. They would have been like, ‘No, this isn’t right. This isn’t legal. Not happening.’”
While Jay didn’t reveal the exact number, he made it clear Kristin walked away with enough to live “comfortably.”
Kristin and Jay, who married in 2013 and share three kids together, finalized their divorce in 2022. But clearly, the drama over who got what is still playing out publicly.
