It’s rumored Jax Taylor gave full custody of their son, Cruz, to his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright amid their divorce proceedings.

ALLEGED legal docs that were ALLEGEDLY filed Sept 26, 2024 circulated the internet. The headline on Reddit stated, “Jax’s response to the divorce. He gave her full physical and legal custody.”

Disclaimer:

I’m not a lawyer. Nor, do I claim to be an expert in reading legal documents. With that in mind, I ventured to the comment section to see if anyone with more expertise weighed in. Reddit didn’t disappoint. Several pros in the legal field confirmed the legal docs are riddled with errors.

Seemingly, Jax didn’t hire a lawyer and chose to fill out the paperwork on his own. If it doesn’t make sense, it’s not you. It’s Jax.

Information gained in the comments … take it for what you will:

The terminated Vanderpump Rules who returned to Bravo TV on The Valley didn’t SURprise a family attorney who chimed into the thread. “I am not at all shocked that Jax is proceeding pro se (without a lawyer) and fucked up this paperwork in every way possible.”

According to the paperwork, Jax “Claims Cruz, who was born in 2021, lived with Brittany starting in 2019 (to present??!!)… I—,” wrote a Redditor. Is this information wrong? Have they lived apart longer than they’ve been honest about? Your guess is as good as ours.

“He also checked ‘Parties never legally married’ as well. That’s fucking WILD,” noted another social media user.

In case you missed it:

Brittany legally separated from Jax in January. While it is unclear when Jax was served divorce papers, he staged a scene for The Valley. Just after he left his 30 day in-patient treatment program, he had cameras ready for his staged legal serving.
