Janet Caperna has a theory as to why her friendship with the Bookos may be dunzo.
While doing press ahead of The Valley season 3, Janet told Us Weekly that political differences between her and husband Jason (who are liberal) and the Bookos may be at the root of the divide.
“Danny posted public support for Charlie Kirk and stayed silent on every other political issue happening in our country,” Janet wrote in a comment shared via creator pumptilly.
“I realized we are very different and would likely never find common ground.”
However, in the Us Weekly interview clip, Janet says the initial question was edited out — leading fans to assume Janet thinks the backlash against her is purely political.
“I’m aware people hate me for other reasons,” Janet clarified.
“I was answering why I can’t move forward with them.”
Janet also threw some shade at costar (and frenemy) Zack Wickham, accusing him of stirring the pot online.
“I wasn’t going to say anything but since Zack wants to get in the comments and fan the hate flames knowing damn well what I was talking about since he was the one to call Danny and BEG him to delete the Charlie Kirk stories.”
As of now, Danny and Nia haven’t publicly shared their political views.
That said, they’ve been perceived as more religious and conservative than Janet — which may only add to the disconnect.
