James Kennedy comments on the rumors that Vanderpump Rules is ending as we know it.
X (aka Twitter) account, thebravobabe, posted a “blind item” about the state of the franchise.
The Rumor:
The current cast of Vanderpump Rules will film one more season to “tie up loose ends.” As opposed to the traditional summer filming schedule, cameras will allegedly pick back up this October.
As for after that? The streets say the cast will be completely rebooted with employees from Sur and TomTom.
This isn’t the only theory supporting the notion that Vanderpump Rules is changing.
With The Valley pulling in viewership and fans, Ariana Madix soaring into mainstream celebrity, and fans tiring of Lala and Scheana, I have to wonder how much longevity really is left with the current cast. Then there’s the fact Ariana refuses to film with Tom Sandoval.
I also think the show will never be able to compete with itself following “Scandoval.” Or any reality show for that matter. It was so organic and unexpected, and I’m not sure the world will collectively come together like that again to watch the drama unfold.
I mean, it made its way to CNN, SNL, Adele’s residency in Vegas. It was EVERYWHERE.
However, despite our guesses, James Kennedy is setting us straight!
