Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Jackie Goldschneider submitted a written declaration supporting Louie Ruelas (Teresa Giudice’s husband) in a legal battle with his ex.
According to Us Weekly, Jackie vouched for the controversial businessman against his ex, Vanessa Reiser, claiming she broke the terms of their mutual agreement.
Legal deets:
Louie accused Vanessa of violating a 2020 deal not to disparage the other to third parties or in public. Vanessa denied Louie’s claim.
Jackie wrote, “I am providing this affidavit in support of [Louie’s] motion for contempt against Vanessa Reiser.”
“I am a former attorney,” began Jackie’s letter. “Prior to meeting [Vanessa], I became aware that Louie and Vanessa had a romantic relationship that ended abruptly. Following the conclusion of their relationship, [Louie] began dating my cast member, Teresa Giudice, which eventually led to their [2022] marriage.”
Jackie claimed during Tre and Louie’s courtship, “[Vanessa] reached out to me and other cast members, including Margaret Josephs.”
“[Vanessa] often made derogatory statements about [Louie] to me during our interactions. She and I spoke multiple times via text message and phone, where she identified herself as [Louie’s] ex-fiancée and frequently made negative remarks about him.”
Jackie continued, “Although I was initially sympathetic to [Vanessa’s] situation, she exploited my vulnerability and kindness and sought to leverage our interactions to criticize [Louie].”
Vanessa couldn’t resist bashing Louie … according to Jackie:
Because Jackie was “sympathetic” to Vanessa, “I invited her to my home in 2021.” During that time, she made further comments about [Louie],” wrote Jackie. “During our conversations, [Vanessa] portrayed herself as a victim and consistently characterized [Louie] as a narcissist.”
“She often recounted stories about their relationship that portrayed him in a negative light,” alleged Jackie. She said that based on her observations and interactions with Vanessa, “I believe that her actions and statements are in direct violation of the terms of the consent order between her and [Louie].”
The RHONJ personality summarized her statement. “Her conduct, as it pertained to me, had been consistent and aimed at disparaging [Louie Ruelas].”
