Hollywood A-Lister, Hugh Grant, weighed in on Luann de Lesseps‘s claim they “heavily made out” at a New York eatery.
Hugh and Lu?!?!
The British actor entered the chat to share what he recalls.
“Steady on,” (that’s calm down across the pond). “I do remember meeting a charming RHNY in a restaurant, but I’d like to stress it was about 15 years ago.”
Hugh continued, “I don’t recall shots or kissing, but her memory might be better than mine.”

In an interview with Too Fab, Luann mentioned the time she grabbed a table at Pierre’s knowing Hugh Grant was there. “I called and said, ‘Get the table right next to Hugh Grant.’ I had my family over, my brother was visiting me, and I said, ‘Let’s go.'”
Lu set up what she called a “flirting 101” ploy that involved her casually bumping into Hugh while pushing out her chair — after which she apologized to the Bridget Jones Diary actor. “I go, ‘I’m so sorry. Can I buy you a shot? I feel terrible,'” she recalled. “He goes, ‘Okay, but I’ll come have a shot with you if you do one with me.'”
According to the reality star, the night progressed from there, and the two ended up “taking shots and making out … heavily at the table.” Lu boasted, “My brother was like, ‘I can’t believe you’re making out with Hugh Grant,’ and I was like, ‘Neither can I.'”

Peacock’s camera crew documented their journey for a new show called The Love Hotel. The show will “gather eligible singles in a quest to win the hearts of four of Bravo’s biggest bachelorettes.”
