Well, Hudson McLeroy reflecting on his 25th year on Instagram definitely backfired.
The on-again, off-again boyfriend of Next Gen NYC star Ariana Biermann recently reflected on the past 25 years of his life in a lengthy Instagram post.
Of the 13 slides included in his birthday reflection, nearly half were dedicated to Ariana — from defending her amid recent headlines to reflecting on what he’s learned through their relationship.
In one caption, Hudson came to Ariana and her family’s defense:
“Even though we’ve recently broken up I’ve seen the comments about her and her family. While I can’t speak for her or for her family I can say this, please shut the fuck up and leave them alone. She’s dealing with enough without a random @ hiding behind a profile picture of their family dog adding their opinions.”
The Zaxby’s heir also reflected on the support he and Ariana have given each other through filming a reality TV show in New York, their respective parents splitting and the growing pains of navigating a relationship in their 20s.
In another caption, Hudson apologized to Ariana:
“Ariana I’m sorry I couldn’t see how much you were hurting because I was so caught up in how happy you made me. I let what I felt drown out what you were trying to tell me.”
Thanks, but no thanks
However, despite Hudson’s very public display of support for the Bravo star, Ariana wasn’t having it.
“So much to say publicly, yet nothing to say privately. Weird,” Ariana wrote in his comment section on Oct. 21.
And Hudson wasted no time firing back.
“After everything I’ve done for you and your family I was trying to make a point but damn this just makes you look like even more of an ass than before after everything that’s happened but I get it I’ll keep the space I can remove the post if you’d like just let me know.”
Welp. So much for the supportive birthday reflection!
ICYMI, Also worth noting, a recent unverified blind item alleged Hudson will not be filming Next Gen NYC Season 3.
The new season is reportedly set to begin filming in January.
