Jimmy Kimmel Live sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez is the latest celebrity to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars season 35.
Jimmy Kimmel’s beloved sidekick will make his way from the late-night stage to the dance floor in the upcoming fall season.
Guillermo’s new gig was announced on the late-night talk show just before the security officer dashed onto the stage in salsa attire, confirming he is ready for the challenge.
Jimmy told Guillermo, “This is going to be so great. Don’t lose a single adorable pound. Okay, do you promise?”
“I promise if I lose five pounds, I’m going to gain ten pounds back right away,” Guillermo replied, before Jimmy wished him luck.
Guillermo joined Jimmy’s talk show in 2003 after working security in the show’s parking lot. Now, Guillermo is featured every night alongside Jimmy, serves as a correspondent on the Oscars red carpet, and regularly participates in sketches for the show.
Guillermo was at Hulu’s Get Real event in Beverly Hills when Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller were announced as the first contestants for season 35. Savannah Bananas’ Jackson Olson was the third announcement for the 2026 cast.
No official premiere date has been announced for the upcoming season of DWTS. But you can expect the ballroom to reopen its doors again this fall!
The series will simulcast live across ABC and Disney+ and stream next-day on Hulu.
