Real Housewives of Miami star, Guerdy Abraira, shared tragic news with her social media followers.
Sadly, Guerdy has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo surgery.
The RHOM star was vacationing in St. Barts when she got the results of a recent mammogram.
“I have breast cancer,” penned the Bravolebrity to her Instagram story after being silent for a while as it took her “a while to process it all.”
Guerdy noted she was “lucky” to have discovered the cancer at an early stage.
After thanking her fans who noticed her absence for their “caring gestures,” the party planner detailed the process so far as “intense.”
Guerdy made one request …
“What I ask of you is empowerment not pity.”
The reality tv star promises to “Guerdyfy this cancer as I Guerdyfy everything else in my life.”
Guerdy concluded her announcement with a very important PSA …
“For those who do not get health checks regularly, I urge you to. Your life depends on it.”
