Gleb Savchenko has entered the DWTS chat — and he’s not holding back!
The former Dancing with the Stars pro shared his thoughts on Alan Bersten filling in for Val Chmerkovskiy following his one-week suspension.
“Alan, I think he’s Alan,” Gleb began during a TikTok Live.
“He’s just not up to the level of dancing. Period. The quality, the technique.”
Gleb feels Alan’s skills may translate “for TV,” but when it comes to “creating art,” he’s not so impressed.
“I’m just being honest. I don’t have anything against the guy. It’s just like, why Alan?”
ICYMI: Val received a one-week suspension and will sit out Tuesday’s Dedication Night following an online joke aimed at Carrie Ann Inaba.
The drama began during Super Bowl Night when Carrie Ann called out Jenna Johnson for incorporating lifts into her and Harry Shum Jr.’s samba, as well as the lack of actual samba content in the routine.
Val jumped into protective husband mode afterward, posting that viewers “almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom” following Carrie Ann’s judging feedback.
Carrie Ann later took to social media to call out Val over the comment, prompting him to issue a public apology.
The dancing competition ultimately decided to bench the beloved pro for Dedication Night.
Val’s partner, actress Jenna Dewan, will now dance with Alan — whose celebrity partner, Giada De Laurentiis, was eliminated during Week 2.
And apparently, Gleb has some thoughts about that choice!
Why is Alan catching strays😭 – they’ve all lost their damn minds #dwts https://t.co/jpGJeVl6UP
