Gizelle Bryant will ride at dawn … to the jail to visit Karen Huger.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star told In Touch that she plans to visit the imprisoned RHOP star while serving her DUI sentence.
Gizelle will visit Karen at Sing Sing Montgomery Countyย Correctional Facility:
During the ‘Gizelle 21 Shady Questions Live’ event at City Winery in New York City, the mother of three was asked if she planned to see the former Grande Dame behind bars.
โEven if I donโt have a mic on my back and I donโt have a camera in my face,” joked Gizelle. “No check? You all know Gizelle is about her coins, quipped the green-eyed bandit.
โYes, Iโll absolutely visit Karen.โ
She shared that she was bringing Karen a shady care-package. โIโll be in there giving her a nail file, giving her a shank [and] giving her a wig,โ added Gizelle.
Andy Cohen and Gizelle’s correspondence about Karen on sentencing day:
Gizelle dished that Andy “texted me all day long.”
“We were going back and forth because we knew that the sentencing was getting ready to happen. So weโre like, โOh my God.โ Heโs like, โOh my God.โ Then it happened, and weโre both giving our feedback on it.โ
Gizelle continued, โOne of the last things he said to me is, โWhen this show started nine seasons ago, never in my wildest dreams would I think that any of the ladies would be going to jail for five minutes โ let alone a year.โโ
Never forget Karenโs DUI history:
Karen โhas two priorย DUI/DWI convictionsย plus a third one that was pled down to a reckless driving.โ
โMs. Huger is extremely lucky that neither she nor anyone else was seriously injured or even killed during this incident. In spite of this, Ms. Huger does not appear to have taken any steps whatsoever to take accountability for her actions on March 19, 2024. In the nine months leading up to trial she did not enroll herself into any type of alcohol treatment program or support group.โ
Karen will serve (up to) one year behind bars, one year of suspension, and five years of probation. Her sentencing can be reduced with good behavior.
