Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Gizelle Bryant hopes to check on Karen Huger in prison to make sure she’s hanging in.
The stunner who can be seen looking for love on Bravo’s Love Hotel told Page Six she gets “updates” about Karen from “someone who is in touch with [her] all the time.”
Gizelle still plans to see Karen while she’s behind bars:
“I did speak to Ray about checking on her and making sure she’s ok. They’re kind of keeping her close to the vest – the family is.”
“From what I hear, she’s doing fine [and] they love her in there. Of course [I’d like to visit her]. I’m trying to figure that out. Regardless of cameras, I want to check on Karen and make sure she’s ok.”
“If we know anything, we know Karen will rise to the occasion.”

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Gizelle went on the record in early March saying the same thing. During the ‘Gizelle 21 Shady Questions Live’ event at City Winery in New York City, the mother of three claimed she was “absolutely” going to visit Karen.
“Even if I don’t have a mic on my back and I don’t have a camera in my face,” joked Gizelle. “No check? You all know Gizelle is about her coins, quipped the green-eyed bandit.
“Yes, I’ll absolutely visit Karen.”
She shared that she was bringing Karen a shady care package. “I’ll be in there giving her a nail file, giving her a shank [and] giving her a wig,” added Gizelle.

Gizelle dished that Andy “texted me all day long.”
“We were going back and forth because we knew that the sentencing was getting ready to happen. So we’re like, ‘Oh my God.’ He’s like, ‘Oh my God.’ Then it happened, and we’re both giving our feedback on it.”
Gizelle continued, “One of the last things he said to me is, ‘When this show started nine seasons ago, never in my wildest dreams would I think that any of the ladies would be going to jail for five minutes — let alone a year.’”
