Grab your coffee and get comfy, because Gilmore Girls is heading back into the spotlight!
In honor of the show’s 25th anniversary, a new documentary titled Searching For Stars Hollow is set to drop this October.
From Ink On Paper Studios, the film promises to dig into the cultural impact of the beloved 2000s classic, while also serving up never-before-seen interviews with cast members, writers, directors, and crew.
And yes, some familiar faces are already confirmed. Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester), and Chad Michael Murray (Tristin Dugray) will all make appearances.
But let’s be real—what everyone really wants to know is if Lorelai and Rory themselves, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, will pop up.
So far, no official word.
Honestly, it would feel like a huge miss not to include them, though I’m sure it’s not for lack of trying. Alexis, especially, has kept a quiet, low-profile life off screen.
There’s still hope though!
Meghna Balakumar, one of the documentary’s directors, teased that they’ve filmed “hundreds of hours of footage” and are still actively shooting.
Translation? Surprises could be in store for us fans!
Even without that confirmation, this documentary is shaping up to be a must-watch for anyone who still finds comfort in rewatching the quirky small-town charm of Stars Hollow.
