Next Gen NYC‘s Gia Giudice had words for “nasty” Ava Dash for potentially using her mom, Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice, as a red herring for her own family’s money issues.
Ava Dash, whose parents are hip hop mogul Damon Dash and designer Rachel Roy, was upset to lean Gia’s mom unfollowed her on Instagram, and made it public. For the record, Gia has vehemently denied that Teresa ever unfollowed Ava.
In an interview with Virtual Reali-Tea, hosts Evan and Danny asked Gia about Ava bringing Teresa up in the first place. “It came out of nowhere. It just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated, because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other.”
One of the hosts speculated that Ava potentially made the comment against Teresa to distract from potential headlines regarding the Dash family’s reported money troubles. Gia said she believes “eventually viewers will see that within [Ava] a little bit.”
“She’s very aware of her image and how she would like to be perceived. Obviously, nobody likes bad press or bad attention. But, unfortunately, that comes with this territory.”
Still, Ava’s face card doesn’t decline, and even Gia won’t argue that. “You could be nasty and still beautiful.”
ICYMI, Gia addressed Ava’s comments about her last summer during a podcast appearance. “Do you really think [Teresa] would be able to just sit there and take the time to do that? I just know my mom, and she barely knows how to film her Cameos correctly.”
“She’s not tech savvy in any way. So when Ava said that, I was like, ‘Girl, you’re just lying. I know my mom, and she doesn’t care that much to unfollow you.’”
