Get those Next Gen NYC cameras rolling because Ava Dash’s famous father, Damon Dash, is back in headlines—this time for all the wrong reasons.
According to court documents obtained by People, the music mogul filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida on Thursday, September 4. His reported liabilities? A staggering $25.3 million.
Damon listed his monthly income as $0 and claimed he doesn’t own a home, car, or even electronics—aside from his $500 cell phone.
His personal assets were valued at just $4,350, including that phone, two guns, clothes, and a mere $100 in cash.
But that’s not all. Dash’s domestic support obligations exceed $647,000, and he reportedly owes the government a whopping $19.1 million in taxes and other debts.
Add to that hundreds of thousands owed to his ex-wife Rachel Roy, with whom he shares daughters Ava and Tallulah.
Fans may remember during the debut season of Next Gen NYC, Damon entertained the idea of going into business with Charlie Zakkour—a move that clearly looks even more questionable now.
