Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Garcelle Beauvais told TMZ how she is doing since police were called to her house after a swatting call was made.
Update!
Garcelle is, understandably, still shaken up. “I’m still working on getting more stable because it was really scary. It’s something you just can’t imagine.”
“I don’t know much, just that it’s a horrible thing to go through. The fact that someone can do that to you just by making a phone call. I’m just grateful that my family wasn’t there and I was the only one home.”
Original post January 26, 2026:
Actress Garcelle Beauvais had a terrifying experience over the weekend when she was led to believe she was in danger inside her Los Angeles home.
A random person made a bogus call to 911 claiming there was someone with a weapon in Garcelle’s house.
Swatting in the City of Angels:
Law enforcement told TMZ, “On Sunday night, police received a call for a possible assault with a deadly weapon and shots fired. The caller claimed he was Garcelle’s ex-boyfriend and said he was armed with a sawed-off shotgun.”
“When officers arrived at the scene, the caller refused to meet with them. After searching the property, police found no evidence of a crime and determined the incident was a swatting.”
Sources connected to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said Garcelle was “home alone when cops arrived. With no context of what was going on, she found the entire ordeal extremely scary.”
Reportedly, this is the second time Garcelle has been swatted at her L.A. home. The first time someone seemimgly swatted at her house was last summer. TMZ’s sources say Garcelle is now with family and working towards the next steps on how to prevent this from happening again.
ICYMI:
Garcelle Beauvais owns at least two homes in California: a five-bedroom main house in the Los Angeles area and a three-story custom-built beach house in Oxnard.
RHOBH fans may remember that Garcelle purchased the Oxnard property in 2021. Initially a cottage, she later built her “$2.26 million dream beach house” on that lot.
