Floribama Shore alum Kirk Medas has lost his battle with pancreatitis.ย
The former MTV reality star was admitted into the ICU with a severe case of necrotizing pancreatitis.
Per the Gofundme originally made on Kirk’s behalf:ย
โThe donation will help for medical bills and rehab. He has no medical insurance so your donations will be greatly appreciated. Please continue to uplift Kirk in your prayers.” ย
Ultimately, on May 2, Kirk’s Floribama Shore co-star Aimee Elizabeth Hall announced that the 33-year-old succumbed to his illness.ย
โI was at the beach when I felt it,โ Aimee penned in a Facebook post.ย
โBefore the call even came, a dolphin kept coming up to me, as if to say goodbye. Kirk and I shared a love for dolphins and the ocean, and in that moment, I just knew.โ
She goes on to say, โKirk had the kindest soul, a heart full of love for everyone he met, and a spirit that brought people together. He truly was the glue that held us all close.โ
Kirk was in the hospital for two weeks prior to his untimely passing.ย
