Selling Sunset‘s Emma Hernan answered questions for It Girl about the happenings at The Oppenheim Group and season 9 of Netflix’s hit show. Specifically, her feud with Chrishell Stause.
How do you feel about Chrishell’s Instagram comment?
“Which one? asked Emma rhetorically. “They’re endless.”
“It’s disappointing; It’s disheartening. I have continued to try to take the high road with it all. I’m a bit over it.”
Emma continued, “I don’t think you should be taking things to social media. You don’t know what it will do to other people – what the internet trolls will do; what certain communities will do.”
“I don’t think that’s fair to do to anyone. She’s really the only one who takes it to that level.”
Status update:
Regarding a future reconciliation with the former soap opera actress, Emma was stern in her stance. “At this point … I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy.”
“To be honest with you, everyone’s threatening to quit, apparently. It’s a bit manipulative. So I’m over it.
ICYMI:
Chrishell told Bustle she was leaving Selling Sunset. “I have to be honest, having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down.”
Plus, the show’s producers can be persuasive. But now, even “Jesus Christ himself” couldn’t get Chrishell to come back for season 10. Neither can Selling Sunset creator Adam DiVello, who has been calling and texting her “100 times a day.”
“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially,” Chrishell continued. “I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”
