The country music crooner took to his Instagram story to share the good news regarding his youngest child, who was born during Jimmie’s stint on DWTS.
Health update:
After being hospitalized, baby Zara James is “off oxygen, breathing on her own” and “doing so much better.”
Jimmie’s wife, Lexi Allen, shared her family’s struggle on to the ‘gram.
“…At 10:30 Zara was unresponsive in my arms and turning color as we frantically ask our drivers to pull over and call 911. The longest 15 minutes of my life…”

“Mommies & daddies please go with your gut instinct. I wish I would’ve taken action sooner but I am so incredibly thankful to have another day of being her mama.”
