Dr. Terry Dubrow from the plastic surgery show ‘Botched’ told TMZ what he thinks is going on with Brandi Glanville‘s face.
“I saw one of her interview and I’ve seen the picture where she was swollen. And, [I’ve seen] the one where she’s really deflated with the irregular skin.”
Dr. Dubrow gave his professional expertise regarding Brandi’s face:
“What I’m concerned with Brandi is that she has an infectious process or a foreign body reaction to something she’s had injected.”
“Here’s what Brandi needs to really focus on. It’s not her fault – it’s her doctor’s fault. Brandi needs a diagnosis. She has to figure out if there is a microorganism in there. It’s not going to be a parasite; it’s not going to be from something she ate.”
“It’s going to be from something that got in her bloodstream and seeded maybe some foreign body. Brandi needs a diagnosis, and she’s right.” He continued, “Brandi might know more than her doctor because Brandi is suggesting, ‘Maybe I need surgery. I’m going to force them to go in there.’ She’s actually pretty correct on that.”
Dr. Dubrow explained two types of microorganisms. One is mycobacterium, the other is fungus. They can be “very difficult” to treat taking “6-12 months.”
He described Brandi as a “ticking time bomb.” Every minute that microorganism is allowed to stay in her skin and do potential damage, she could suffer worse and it could be “more difficult to treat.”
“Brandi needs a diagnosis and surgical intervention.”
Dr. Dubrow broke the 4th wall and spoke directly to Brandi. “If you can’t get a diagnosis and you need help, the ‘Botched’ doctors are here for you.”
Brandi responded to Dr. Dubrow’s offer:
“I appreciate all the help I can get. We have been in touch and plan to talk. Thank you for all the love. All fillers in that were in my face have been dissolved. I have seen all the best doctors they referred me to.”
