Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Denise Richards will not have her paychecks seized over the massive debts of her estranged husband Aaron Phypers.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, a L.A. judge denied a request by a debt collector company, Creditors Adjustment Bureau, to go after Denise’s money.
Legal deets:
Creditors Adjustment Bureau sued Aaron in 2022 over an unpaid loan.
Two years later, the judge granted the creditors a default judgment totaling $228,000.
A couple of months after that, CAB asked the court for permission to seize wages and other assets of the model/actress, since she was Aaron’s wife.
Thankfully for Denise, the court has shut down efforts to make her pay for Aaron’s debts.
Aaron’s hands are still in Denise’s purse:
Despite this win, unemployed Aaron is still mooching off the Wild Things star.
Denise was ordered to pay Aaron $5K per month in temporary spousal support during the divorce proceedings. “The payments are due on the 5th of each month. starting March 5. They will continue until further order of the court.”
Additionally, Denise must pay Aaron $25K in attorney’s fees, plus an additional $5K for a forensic accountant. The $30K total will be paid in three $10K installments at the end of March, April, and May.
