The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 reunion host Nick Viall promised Demi Engemann would be part of the cast’s first reunion, despite her not being present for filming.
The podcaster used his platform to tease Demi’s role at the reunion.
Demi’s reunion role:
To the cast’s chagrin, Demi is somehow involved in the season one TSLOMW reunion. But the other MomTokers aren’t the only ones in their feels over it …
Nick spilled, “I do know people in production have mixed feelings about this. Demi is, in a way, very much a part of the reunion. You will have the opportunity to hear from Demi herself, in a way.”
“You will want to watch. I promise you,” concluded Nick.
Disney > Reunion:
Just days ago, Demi claimed the reunion taping conflicted with a family vacation. “I was [invited].”
She explained her reasoning for skipping the reunion via her Instagram story. “It was short notice and the only day they could get the location secured was the day that me and my entire family did Disneyland. We had already booked all of our flights, and the Airbnb was nonrefundable. I tried to have production move it to another day and they couldn’t swing it, sadly.”

The entire cast was gifted a family trip to Disney, courtesy of Hulu – which is owned by the Walt Disney Company.
Nick explained, “They had the opportunity to pick whatever date they wanted.”
“All of these women were given the opportunity to go and have a ‘Disney experience’ with their family. All of them, and they could just go whenever they wanted [and the reunion] happened to be the date that Demi picked.”
Nick was unsure if the date Demi chose was truly a coincidence or an excuse to not answer for the drama she was involved in season 2. “[I’m] obviously taking her word for it.”
“I think many of her cast feel that it was not as random as Demi suggests. I don’t think anyone in the cast feels like Demi was upset about not being there, but there’s no proof to suggest that the story was untrue.”
What to expect from TSLOMW reunion:
The reunion will focus on MomTokers Taylor Frankie Paul, Jessi Ngatikaura, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Layla Taylor, and Miranda McWhorter.
