Danielle Olivera is making it clear she and Carl Radke are just friends.
While at Lindsay Hubbard’s baby shower, the CEO is setting the record straight on the ruhhhmoorrs.
“That’s hilarious,” Danielle begins.
“First he hated me and I was trying to not be happy for them during their engagement. Now I’m back together with him? Like what?”
Danielle And Carl’s History
Before Lindsay Hubbard and Carl’s Radke’s whirlwind engagement, Danielle and Carl dated pre Summer House. They later had a brief moment during the final part of season 4.
However, both Lindsay and Danielle’s relationship began to dissipate when Danielle did not congratulate Lindsay on her engagement via social media.
In an interview with Us back in 2022, Danielle says:
“Social media is a strange animal. I think that I was just exhausted from summer. I’m juggling so many things. I am obviously very, very happy for them. I did not see it coming. But who could not love love?”
It did not help when Carl didn’t tell Danielle ahead of time his plans to propose to Lindsay, aka, Danielle’s best friend. Aka his ex-girlfriend.
Current day, it’s all water under the bridge.
“I think people just see us together being friendly again.”
“I’m not going to be angry with him anymore. That time has passed. Lindsay’s over it, I’m over it. I just want to be friends with Carl again.”
“God you can’t have a guy friend these days,” she concludes.
Girls Got to Stick Together
Despite their complicated past, Danielle was front and center ready to support Lindsay during the split. Now, she’s ready to be there for Lindsay as she eagerly anticipates the arrival of the Hubb Cub.
On October 28, the Summer House alum posted a carousel from Lindsay’s all pink baby shower.
