Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper‘s estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura declared “DadTok is dead,” as Hulu moved to put viewers out of their misery.
While Jordan and Dakota are still on good terms, fans shouldn’t expect a DadTok comeback anytime soon.
“We’ll still meet up. I’ll have them over. I love to cook, so we’ll have barbecues and stuff,” revealed Jordan.
“As far as the future of DadTok, Hulu made damn sure that they started DadTok and they also ended DadTok, when it didn’t go over well with the fan base,” he added.
Jordan reiterated his position, declaring, “So DadTok and what it is is dead, but I’m working on some other things.”
One of those projects is a peptide business, which Jordan says he recently launched.
He also pushed back against the idea that the men are simply sitting on the sidelines while their wives navigate the spotlight.
“I think that’s something the show gets wrong and they don’t really showcase. We’re not these miserable bums that sit on the sidelines,” Jordan insisted. “We do do things outside of support the moms on the show.”
He acknowledged the challenges that come with being portrayed as the bad guy in a highly publicized situation. “When we’re seen as the villains and people forget that we’re humans and we make mistakes and we’re trying to navigate this life like everybody. We have everybody in the world interested in what we’re up to.”
