Cynthia Bailey may just be a friend of for Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but don’t get it twisted — she’s still in the drama.
On the September 29th episode of her joint podcast with Crystal Minkoff, Cynthia spilled some tea about her role this season.
“As someone who’s a friend of, I got a little smoke,” Cynthia admitted.
“And had to give a little bit of smoke back.”
Even though she splits her time between L.A. and Atlanta (and isn’t holding a peach this time around), Cynthia teased that her “Housewives memory muscle” kicked right back in.
“Hey, my housewife memory muscle is strong… I know how to clock back in,” she laughed.
If Cynthia thought she’d be able to slide by unscathed, the Season 17 newcomers had other plans.
“Newbies are definitely very vocal,” she said. “Yeah, the newbies are doing their thing.”
Returning “newbies” Angela Oakley and Kelli Ferrell are back for round two, while fresh faces K. Michelle (Love & Hip Hop) and Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole are set to officially join the mix.
If Cynthia’s already catching smoke without a peach in her hand, imagine the level of heat we’re about to get when the season drops.
