Crystal Kung Minkoff was almost back on Bravo!
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she got the call to appear on Bravo’s very own Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition but ultimately decided to pass.
“I was a little bit sad. I was confused. And all of a sudden I got this call,” Crystal shared on the October 6 episode of her podcast.
“I’m like, that’s not what I want. I wanted Traitors.”
Still, Crystal admitted she considered saying yes out of FOMO — fearing it might be her only chance to return to the Bravo-sphere.
But once her husband Rob Minkoff heard the premise, that opportunity was shut down real quick.
“I brought it to Rob, he was like, ‘hell no, we’re not doing that,’” she said.
“He’s like, because it’s about them and him and the kids alone.”
ICYMI: Crystal exited RHOBH after three seasons, calling her departure “bittersweet” and mutual.
While some reports claimed she was let go for a lack of storyline, Crystal said the experience became emotionally draining. She also wanted to protect her family and privacy.
Since leaving Beverly Hills, Crystal launched a joint podcast with fellow Housewife Cynthia Bailey — where she spilled this Wife Swap tea.
Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
